Control loop
Any automated control is based on a simple control loop. Even complex tasks can be broken down and simplified into these control loops.
+ The starting point is the current position of the material surface.
+ The electric eye detects the actual position of the material edge. Depending on the task and material conditions, infrared electric eyes, ultrasonic electric eyes, or line scan electric eyes can be used. + The controller compares the actual value of the material edge position with the set value and sends a corresponding correction signal to the actuator.
+ The actuator corrects the running of the material surface. Depending on the application and the material, the actuator may be a frame-type correction, a rotary pusher, a turning frame, or a linear actuator of a winder.
