Faced with the rising costs of paper box enterprises, cardboard and paper box companies are paying more and more attention to the purchase of correction and tension control systems.

Facing the rising costs for corrugated board companies, cardboard and corrugated box manufacturers are increasingly focusing on the purchase of correction and tension control systems.
Three Major Roles of Correction and Tension Systems
As auxiliary equipment for the corrugator, correction and tension systems help reduce trimming waste and minimize cardboard warping. Their main functions are primarily reflected in the following three aspects:
  (1) Maintain uniform tension across the entire line to meet higher speed requirements
  (2) Maintain rapid alignment of the entire line's width
  (3) Integrated trimming
Correction and tension control are key to solving a series of quality problems in corrugated board, because correction and tension control systems can detect the running position and tightness of the paper web in real time, and adjust the braking force of the paper brake (now requires multiple point brakes) according to the changes, forming a "detection → feedback → braking" control loop, allowing the paper web to maintain appropriate tension and correct position throughout the corrugator, meeting higher speed production requirements, enabling rapid alignment of the entire line's width, and achieving integrated trimming.
The bridge and double facer are very common correction points
Generally speaking, the bridge and double facer are very common correction points. The bridge correction system uses a non-destructive pressure wheel correction frame for continuous correction, preventing damage to the material surface and thus reducing machine downtime. The bridge correction system can operate independently and can be used on three, five, and seven-layer corrugated board production lines, and can also be installed on existing older production lines.
At the double facer inlet, before the preheating roller of the double facer, the positions of the upper and lower edges of the corrugated board are automatically aligned during gluing, ensuring accurate bonding and minimizing material trimming waste.
Correction is also needed at the paper receiving machine, single facer, and cross cutter
Theoretically, a corrugator should have seven correction points. When the single facer is bonding the paper, without a correction device, it will cause misalignment of the corrugated board and liner, and at the later cross cutter, the misaligned paper must be cut off, causing paper waste and even edge defects. With a correction device, the base paper will automatically correct and align before entering the single facer, preventing misalignment during bonding and preventing excess glue from getting onto the corrugating rollers of the equipment.
